Priority Advocacy Projects Application

Townsville Enterprise, the North Queensland Regional Councils (NQROC) and North Queensland's business community are committed to securing North Queensland's future.

Townsville Enterprise members are invited to submit projects that drive jobs and economic development for consideration for our upcoming government delegations and advocacy strategy. 

For projects to be assessed for inclusion in the Unlock the North advocacy document there is a mandatory criteria the project must meet. The project must:

  • Have a completed Feasibility Study or Business Case
  • The project must be able to provide evidence of support from the relevant Local Government Area
  • The project must be within, or derive benefit for the LGAs within Townsville, Hinchinbrook, Charters Towers, Burdekin or Palm Island 
  • The project must require funding or policy legislative change from State or Federal Government.

Townsville Enterprise is committed to supporting projects and developments across the region. Whilst not all projects can feature in our publications, proponents with a current membership can still access support from Townsville Enterprise including letters of support, business introductions and economic analysis and data.
