The 2018 Events Campaign will launch on 27 January 2018 and will have an initial burst of marketing activity for a 3 week period. A second burst of activity will occur in the lead up to the winter events calendar in April/May.

Townsville Enterprise has partnered with the Townsville Bulletin, Townsville City Council and Townsville Airport to showcase the region’s thriving events calendar and stunning attractions. In January 2018, the Townsville North Queensland Events and Insider’s Guide will be inserted into newspapers in the key visitor markets of Mackay, Cairns, Townsville, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Brisbane (CBD) and Darwin. An electronic version of the Guide will also be developed and promoted through a dedicated online marketing campaign. In addition to the markets mentioned above, the electronic version will also target Sydney, Melbourne and Port Moresby.
Townsville North Queensland tourism operators and event organisers are invited to book advertising space within this special edition publication at heavily discounted rates. Spaces are limited, get in early to avoid disappointment.
