The 'Support Local Townsville' campaign, managed by Townsville City Council, is encouraging local business owners to register for a FREE online business listing. This is a central business directory listing all businesses in the region with adapted services, or open times.
Townsville Enterprise is backing local business and offering support to our regional 'Support Local' campaigns.
Wherever possible over the coming months, we're encouraging all of North Queensland to band together and to support local, and explore local (when the time is right!). This support can range from buying gift vouchers to be used at a later date, postponing appointments rather than cancelling, buying food from businesses that are now offering takeaway options and supporting your local corner stores and/or independent/locally owned produce suppliers.
Each region has asked for locals to support locals, and we're doing our bit to help share the message. If your business has adapted over the past few weeks, let us help the community know you’re open for business!
Remember to only visit local businesses if you are not showing any flu-like symptoms, abide by social distancing restrictions and wash/ sanitise your hands regularly.
