2021 North Queensland Tourism Award Winners

The 2021 North Queensland Tourism and Events Awards have been established to recognise and foster excellence within Townsville North Queensland’s tourism industry. The awards allow the industry to recognise the people, places, organisations and events that have gone above and beyond to offer superior tourism experiences for visitors in the Townsville North Queensland region. 

EVENT AND PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD INFORMATION

People’s Choice Awards - Decided by a combination of public voting and online reviews, this year's People’s Choice Awards will showcase and recognise the businesses and events who are providing the best customer experience.  Once nominated, the only thing you have to do as an nominee is share the voting information with your visitors and encourage them to vote for you. All nominees will be provided with marketing toolkit (including web banners and social media tiles) to help your promote your nomination. Categories below. 

Best of Queensland Experiences Program No nomination required. This category will recognise and acknowledge all operators who have qualified for the most recent Best of Queensland Experiences Program round.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS INFORMATION

Richard Power Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual – This category will include a short written submission and possible interview.

Young Achiever Award - This category will include a short written submission and possible interview.

People's Choice Awards

Best Major Event

This category recognises Major Festivals, events and exhibitions that enhance the profile and appeal of Townsville North Queensland, attract over 5,000 visitors and create a significant economic impact for the destination.
