Following the remarkable success of last year’s campaign, which sold out in under 72 hours, Townsville Enterprise is thrilled to announce the return of its exclusive Mates Rates campaign.  

In 2025, locals and visitors can again enjoy an incredible 50% off all tours, accommodation, and experiences up to the value of $250, available exclusively through townsvillenorthqueensland.com.au. 

The subsidised discount campaign is designed to boost visitation and support local tourism operators during the low season, offering a win-win opportunity for both locals and the regional tourism industry.  

To access the exclusive discount code, visitors must register at townsvillenorthqueensland.com.au by 9 February. The sale goes live on 10 February and will remain available until sold out, with holidays bookable up until 3 April 2025.

Townsville Enterprise Director of Visitor Economy and Marketing, Lisa Woolfe, said the campaign’s rapid success last year highlighted the appeal for locals to explore Townsville North Queensland.
