Advocacy Alert: ACCC Electricity Supply & Prices Public Forum
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is inviting Townsville's electricity customers to participate in a public forum as part of the Electricity Supply and Prices Inquiry.
The Forum is scheduled in Townsville on Monday 7 August 2017, from 5pm to 7pm, at Rydges, 23 Palmer Street, South Townsville.
Attendees will have the opportunity to raise competition and pricing issues in the retail electricity sector with ACCC Commissioners.
We need as many Townsville North Queensland small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in attendance as possible. This is your chance as an SME to have you voice heard, as each person who registers for the forum can pose a question and a topic for discussion. The ACCC have the power to implement electricity pricing reform.
Following the forum, a summary of issues discussed will be published on the ACCC website.
