Indigenous tourism

Townsville Enterprise is funded from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to employ an indigenous tourism development officer.

The objectives of this program are to support indigenous residents and the North Queensland tourism industry in increasing the number of indigenous tourism businesses, indigenous trainees and indigenous employees within the tourism and hospitality sector.
Townsville Enterprise can provide advice and support to meet these objectives.
