Townsville Enterprise is the official Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) for North Queensland. This means we work with Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland, the broader tourism industry, local councils, and local tourism businesses to promote North Queensland as a holiday destination.

Our marketing activities include working with the tourism trade and travel media to ensure the region has a national and international voice, and coordinating cooperative marketing opportunities that profile the region. We engage in many innovative campaigns and - through our partnerships - leverage opportunities for members, securing the best possible deals through these relationships.

We also play a part in securing new tourism developments and major events for the region, like the highly successful Townsville 400 V8 Supercars, and we develop strategies for the growth of the tourism industry in North Queensland.
