Who Should Apply?

Do you consider yourself a leader? Are you a key decision maker at middle, senior or executive level looking to enhance your leadership skills?

Then this is the program for you!

The program is open to potential candidates from all industries and organisations. We are encouraging applicants from private enterprise, community and not-for-profit organisations, and the public sector to ensure diversity within the group.

 

Selection Criteria

Participants will be selected on the basis of:

• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Potential to develop existing leadership qualities further
• Willingness to participate in the growth of the Townsville Region
• Proven record or capacity to enter into senior level management positions within the community
• Commitment to the time and energy required to complete the program

To ensure an optimal learning environment, participants will be selected by ensuring a combination of sectors, location, age and gender.

1. Successful applicants will move onto the panel interview. At this stage the final 26 Emerging Leaders will be selected and prepped ready to commence the program late February 2012.
