Major Projects
The Townsville and North-North West region have numerous projects within the mining, construction and infrastructure sectors. Currently the Townsville region has approximately $13 billion worth of projects either underway or awaiting start. With the increase in mining activity, Townsville is the transport, service and logistics hub for the North West Minerals Province, as well as the ideal location for fly in-fly-out workers.
