• Ensuring a strategic and robust planning process with regular reviews of performance on core projects against targeted outcomes,

Our vision for the Townsville Region
Townsville and North Queensland will be widely known and acknowledged as a great place to live, work, study, visit and invest.

This will result in increasing investment into the region and continuing prosperity through the diversity and growth of the economy, growth of the tourism and business events industries, and growth of the population.

This will be achieved by relevant regional stakeholders working together to deliver:

• Appropriate transport, energy, water and industrial and residential land infrastructure to support our growing economy,
